About Us:

Nelumbo Jiu-Jitsu Casa Branca Academy is devoted to building strong martial artists and disciplined individuals.

We help our students fulfill their competitive dreams or self-improvement goals. “Nelumbo,” inspired by the lotus flower, represents strength and rebirth—lessons that our martial arts academy highlights in training. Our students learn to channel the gentleness of BJJ to navigate through adversity with grace and power. We are more than brute strength, we are blossoming into a higher potential.

Our History:

Owner and Professor Eduardo Torres first studied martial arts at a young age.

In 2008, he decided it was time to establish his community and opened Nelumbo Jiu-Jitsu Casa Branca Academy in Oviedo. Today, Professor Torres uplifts his students to overcome obstacles to become champions and their best selves through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you want to learn self-defense or become a champion, you’ll learn to live out the BJJ lifestyle.
